International group
The international group dances
on the Tuesday evening from 7:45 p.m. till 8:45 p.m. The group has about 16 members. They
dance, like the name says, international dances. These are dances from
countries like Bulgaria, Greece, Israel and America etc.
Manja Vastenhoud
is the teacher of the group. She teaches dances step by step. Folklore
dancing is very relaxing and very pleasant. Besides dancing the group has
other activities like visiting the Theatre, mostly in Middelburg.
All activities are voluntarily off course. At the end of the dancing season
the group goes away to visit a city, like Amsterdam and Utrecht. They visit the museum and go
shopping! There is a big fair in March, organised by members of this group
in co-operation with the other groups.
In short, the international
group means a lot of fun and relaxation.
