Would you like to have some fun in dancing to music?
Maybe Folklore dancing is perfect for you! Folklore dancing is having fun
with all your friends from your neighbourhood. What can we offer you?
There is a children group from Primary school till
the age of 9. They dance every
Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. in Kaj Munk in Hansweert. In playing games
we teach the children to dance to music. We teach them simple dances in
couples, in circles and in free space. In between we make time to talk and
play. When the children get older we learn them dances with a bit more
structure.
The group with children from the age 9 to 12
dances from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. These children can already learn difficult
dances. We talk to them about social intercourse and do some dance games.
Children older then 10 years can also join the
line-dance group, they dance Friday evening from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
These groups do more then just dancing. St.
Nicolas visits the children every year and brings each child a present. At
the end of the dancing season the directors organise a surprise for the
children. Having fun and enjoying the music is the most important factor
for the group.

always visit us. The first 4 weeks are free.
